"Ride with Me" is about the love you experience with someone reciprocates the positivity you deserve. The amount of respect, loyalty and compassion you share within your relationship is what you should always receive back. Sometimes, there are cracks within our hearts and at times, our significant others often shoulder through the ugly and still extend a loving gesture to let us know that we're safe and can emotionally, spiritually, and ceremonially express our pain and allow them to comfort us while we heal from our past. And when you can look at your partner and feel their soul reaching out to hug yours, then you know you are connected for life.

There's a story of how there was a woodpecker who was envious of all of the other birds because they had a song of their own. Out of frustration, the woodpecker blasted holes within the wood of a dead tree and the wind blew through those holes and out came a noise. Hollow, a little melancholy, but strong like the dead tree was saying, "I'm still here!" The woodpecker did more and felt silly after awhile, but when the wind blew once again, then came a beautiful array of different notes, so strong that the birds that were around stopped to listen to the melody. The realization that the woodpecker had was that everyone has their own voice, their own song. Though it may not sound like others, the one they have is their own and when used with a little determination and hope, it makes the most beautiful result.

In the same story, a young man had difficulty expressing himself to a woman he was interested in, and because of that she begin to choose another man over him. So he went out to the wooded area to go be sad, but then the woodpecker seen him and brought him the pieces of wood with the holes drilled into it so that he may properly give his feelings a "voice." The man used sap to bind the pieces together and then blew through the tube. To the woodpeckers and the man's amazement, there was a new sound but also feeling within it. The man would blow through the tube and every now and thing play notes by covering the holes and soon enough, the woman whom he had failed to communicate to, came to see him as if called. She would listen to him play and found peace within this inner voice that came from him, connecting on a level much stronger than the ability to impress with war achievements and gifts.

The flute is called, a "hogagapi" meaning to give a voice.

Here, you can see the woodpecker as well as the flute shaped as a woodpecker, while a man rides together with his lady. Note the accents of real horse hair along the mane and tail parts of the ledger horse.
