One of my favorite categories to watch in a spotlight special at a powwow would have to be the fancy shawlers.  The fierce yet graceful movements are always mesmermizing and always remind me of how an eagle flies and circles with confidence and beauty.
The eagle and it's power is significant to many indigenous tribes here within Americas as well as in other countries in the world.  In some stories, the eagle saved the human race giving him priority in sacred beings.
